FAQs
You’ve got questions, we’ve got answers.
Wait, Toni's name is Marie Antoinette?
Yes, yes it is. You can ask her parents about it when you meet them in France.
The Festival:
Where is it?
The wedding festivities will take place at: Chateau du Fey, Lieu-dit, 89300 Villecien, France
What’s included?
Tilgoni Fest includes housing, all meals and beverages, snacks, activities, programming, taxes/VAT fees, shuttles to/from all events from your accommodations within Joigny/Villecien, and so much more – think all-inclusive so you don’t have to worry about the weekend. (Unless you’ve selected the ‘festival-only’ non-housing option, then shuttles are not included.)
What is there to do?
Check here for the Tilgoni Fest schedule. AND be ready for some surprises!

Transport to/ from airports/Paris is not included, but you have options, see below:
Shuttles to/from Chateau du Fey during the festival from approved locations are included for those who have opted into the Tilgoni Fest options with accommodations.
Are the shuttles to/from off-site festival housing for everyone?
No. Shuttles will only do pick-ups/drop-offs for those who are in Tilgoni Fest housing locations. If you booked your own separate Airbnb , the shuttles will not take you there.
What about shuttles to/from the offsite activities during the day?
Yes! No matter where you are sleeping at night all shuttles to and from Chateau du Fey <> offsite activities are covered (i.e. horseback riding, kayaking, guided walking tour).
How can I get to/from the airport or Paris?
Transportation to/from the airport/paris is not included. If you need to book a transfer to/from the airport, fear not, you have options:
*PARIS MINIVAN:*For full vans, it is about 80 Euros per person - 480 Euros/van, 6 people to a van. You may need to wait 20-40 min for a full van. Please indicate by your name on this sheet if you’d like Paris Minivan to reach out to you directly, or there’s a self organizing tab if you don’t want to use Paris Minivan. You can also join this chat to coordinate van shares.
*UBER:* can fit 2-3 depending on bags. From CDG - 230-300 Euros, from Orly - 180-220 Euros (2 hours - 2.5 hours). To head back to the train station, there is Uber, but it’s not reliable and can take up to 10- 15 min to arrive, so don’t depend on it.
*TRAIN:* From CDG 2.5 hours - usually every 1-2 hours - 20-30 Euros pp. From Orly 2:10-2:30 - usually every 1-2 hours - 20-30 Euros pp
Your best bet will be to take the train from Bercy to Joigny. (you will either need to uber or take a different train(s) from the airport to Bercy. From the Joigny train station you can either call a cab (TAXI SALIM 00 33 6 50 64 25 30, TAXI A&H 00 33 6 79 61 50 32) to your Airbnb. Or if you are staying in off-site festival housing a shuttle will be picking you up and bringing you to Chateau du Fey. Or your festival housing??
Download the app and buy train tickets here.
*CAR RENTAL:* 250-350 Euros for 4 days
If your arrival time doesn't match a Van it might be better to take an uber, taxi, or train.
Packing
Costume and attire themes can be found here (scroll down to find the pinterest board for each night)
What about shoes?
We recommend packing comfortable shoes (most events (including the wedding) take place outdoors in a mix of gravel, grass, dirt, and forest areas). Ladies, if you’d like to wear heels, we recommend thicker heels as stilettos may be challenging in some of the settings, but completely up to you ;)
Besides the themes, what else do I need to bring?
Comfortable clothes for morning workouts or walks if you choose to participate and swimwear for Sunday’s decompression.
What if I am staying off-site, will a shuttle bring me back to change during the day?
Short answer, it depends.
Yes, if you are staying in Tilgoni festival off site housing - shuttles will be available to take you back to your housing during the day, or you can bring everything and change/store your stuff.
No, if you have booked your own offsite housing, the shuttles will not take you to your Airbnbs. You are welcome to coordinate your own travel, or bring everything you need for the day there will be places to change and store your stuff.
But my outfit is hot fiya, do I really need a jacket?
Short answer: that’s totally up to you. You can find the weather here and make your own decision. We can tell you there will be many nighttime outdoor dance parties.
What's the difference between attending the Tilgoni Fest and attending just the wedding?
It's not lost on us that taking time off and traveling to France to celebrate our love costs time, resources, and energy. With that, we wanted to create a special experience to share what means most to us – our community. We've taken the liberty to plan 4 days and nights of accommodations, activities, culinary journeys, parties, dancing, exploration, music, and more so you may come, drop in, and enjoy a full few days immersed in the hills of France.
Our aim is to make the experience as economical for everyone as we can. For those who can only join for the wedding day and night - that's amazing as well and we'll celebrate with you on the big day!
What about kids?
Children are welcome. We will have nannies in France and will make introductions so you can coordinate directly with them for childcare.
